West Newbury, Groveland and Merrimac police and fire depts. conducted a simulated fatal motor vehicle crash watched by students at Pentucket High School
WEST NEWBURY — As prom and graduation approaches, Pentucket Regional High School’s Safety & Public Service Academy, along with the Groveland, West Newbury and Merrimac Fire and Police Departments, will be conducting a simulated fatal motor vehicle crash for the junior and senior class to demonstrate the negative effects of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
In a video narrated by Chief Eric M. Shears, residents can take a virtual tour of the Merrimac Police Department. Chief Shears created the video to illustrate some of the issues they have with the inadequate public safety building in town.
