Merrimac Police Department, Animal Control and Town Clerk Invite Community to Rabies Clinic

The Merrimac Police Department, Merrimac Animal Control and Town Clerk Gwendolyn Lay Sabbagh invite the community to a rabies clinic being held Saturday, April 30 at the Police Department.

Saturday, April 30, from noon to 2 p.m.

Merrimac Police Department, 2 Jana Way

WHAT:

In collaboration with the Amesbury Animal Hospital, the Merrimac Police Department, Animal Control, and Town Clerk Gwendolyn Lay Sabbagh are offering rabies vaccines for dogs or cats for $16 per vaccine.

The Town Clerk will also be on hand to issue dog tags for anyone who would like to register their dogs.

No registration is required. Anyone with questions should call the Police Department at 978-346-8321.

“Ensuring family pets are properly vaccinated and registered with the Town is an important step in helping to protect their welfare,” said Chief Shears. “We are pleased to be partnering with the Town Clerk and Amesbury Animal Hospital to offer these low cost rabies vaccines and an easy opportunity to register dogs.”
